Description

Arctic Seal Self-Adhering Roofing Underlayment is a durable, waterproof, self-adhering underlayment made for areas of the roof most susceptible to leaks and ice damming. It is specially formulated with a sand release agent coated, SBS polymer modified asphalt underlayment that protects against moisture seepage. It provides an extra layer of leak protection in more critical areas like roof valleys, roof edges, and roof-to-sidewall transitions where rain, snow, and ice are more apt to accumulate. It helps prevent ice damming in colder geographies. It meets all the code requirements including ASTM D226, ASTM D4869, and AC 48. It is designed for use under asphalt shingles, concrete tiles, all metal panels, shakes, synthetic shingles, and primed cedar shakes.
