Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie LUS26Z is a face-mount joist hanger designed for use with 2x6 lumber. It is made of 18-gauge steel and has a ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance. The hanger utilizes double-shear nailing for added strength, which distributes the load through two points on each joist nail for greater strength. It also allows the use of fewer nails, faster installation, and the use of standard nails for all connections. The LUS26Z is a light capacity hanger that provides support underneath the joist, rafter or beam to provide a strong connection.
